Before launching a successful acting career, Laz Alonso worked on Wall Street, before beoming a TV host, and then having his pop culture moment in the famous Budweiser "Wassup" ad campaign. Then he broke through as an actor, including a featured role in the biggest movie of all time, "Avatar" (2009). Laz Alonso, who is of Latin and African-American descent, was born on March 25, 1974, in Washington, D.C. After graduating from the Howard University School of Business, Alonso got a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and went to work as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch on Wall Street.
