Stelio Savante

South African born polyglot character actor Stelio Savante has been a steady product of independent and international theatrically released feature films after a two-decade New York theater career and several recurring roles in series in the early 2000s. Savante is an actor best known for his portrayal of characters throughout various television series. After a minor speaking role in David Chase's "The Sopranos"(1999) as Gaetano, Savante starred in the series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999-), working directly opposite Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni as the chilling yet engaging fundamentalist Milan Zergin. Several recurring television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Ugly Betty" (ABC, 2006-2010) and "The Suite Life on Deck" (Disney, 2008-2010). He also landed roles in various films such as the Luke Wilson action comedy "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" (2006), an ensemble lead in Sony's sci-fi franchised, "Starship Troopers 3: Marauder" (2008) and Russell Crowe's box office smash dramatic adaptation "A Beautiful Mind" (2001). Later acting credits include "Eisenstein in Guanajuato" (2015), "No Postage Necessary" (2017) which he also co-produced, and "Running for Grace" (Netflix, 2018) starring as Mayor opposite Matt Dillon and Jim Caviezel. His most recent works are as an international journalist and Mossad agent opposite Jim Caviezel and Claudia Karvan in the political thriller "Infidel" (2019), starring opposite Frank Langella, Bobby Cannavale and Ashley Benson in the comedy "Lapham Rising" awaiting release and producing Todd Randall's "Under the Stadium Lights" (2021). As a consistently active voice actor, he has voiced leading characters like Ajax in the video games Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and Black Ops Mobile.
