Tonio Descanvelle

Tonio Descanvelle was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Descanvelle appeared in such films as the Eric Challier drama "Mayday" (1994), the Philippe Torreton dramatic adaptation "Captain Conan" (1997) and the Milla Jovovich action film "The Messenger: the Story of Joan of Arc" (1999). He also appeared in the action flick "The Crimson Rivers" (2001) with Jean Reno. His film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like the adventurous drama "The Transporter" (2002) with Jason Statham and the Tom Hanks smash hit dramatic adaptation "The Da Vinci Code" (2006). Recently, he tackled roles in the comedy "Nos Amis Les Terriens" (2007) with Annelise Hesme, "Transporter 3" (2008) with Jason Statham and "The Family" (2013). Descanvelle most recently acted in the Scarlett Johansson blockbuster action picture "Lucy" (2014).
