Zac Posen

Fashion designer Zac Posen possessed that rare instinct of not only knowing how to dress women of all shapes and sizes, but making them feel like a star in his clothing. Gifted with natural talent and keen business sense, Posen made his mark in the fashion world at an age when most of his peers were barely perfecting their craft. Throughout his career, he dressed some of the world's most beautiful women - everyone from supermodel Naomi Campbell to award-winning actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Natalie Portman. His work gained respect among the fashion elite for its streamlined aesthetic of 1940s-inspired tailoring, yet he also created show-stopping mermaidesque gowns and flirty cocktail dresses. While he made his mark with his couture gowns, Posen expanded his brand and entered the commercial retail market with affordable lines sold at Target and Saks Fifth Avenue. In 2013, Posen joined the judging panel of the long-running reality series "Project Runway" (Bravo, 2004-08; Lifetime, 2008-18; Bravo, 2018- ), where he further established his reputation as one of the most respected and influential designers - as well as mentors - of his generation.
