Ma and Pa Kettle

Ma (Marjorie Main) and Pa Kettle (Percy Kilbride) are gritty country folk on the verge of being evicted from their rundown house. Luckily, Pa places first in a slogan contest for King Henry Tobacco Company, winning the couple -- and their 15 ill-behaved children -- a brand-new "home of the future," complete with the latest in sophisticated gadgetry. However, the family quickly realizes that their new modern amenities are more trouble than they're worth.
